Azrael’s
Accomplice Designs started as a small home based custom gothic and alternative
clothing company in 1996. It was founded and is still run by Tracy
Robertson, known also in the underground fashion/subculture community
simply as her nickname, Batty. A creative and skilled designer, she has
had college training in both costume and fashion design and has studied
the art of corsetry and historical fashion since the age of 12.
The company has now grown from a small home based design studio to a
thriving small business with ready to wear line, a couture clothing
line, corsetry division, and it's sister line of more mainstream friendly designs, called AZAC Designs.
It’s our mission to have a high quality, high end, high fashion take on
the strange and beautiful world of subcultural fashions.
We believe that clothing is not just a necessity of life.
Clothing should be inspiring, moving, it can even tell a story.
Clothing can be wearable art. Our cocktail, evening, and bridal wear is
driven by these beliefs. We want to make clothing with allure and
mystery, inspired by the past, the present, the future, fantastical
realms that never were, other cultures, distant memories, and even the
dark corners of the imagination. Azrael’s Accomplice Designs and AZAC Designs has been featured in many magazines, fashion
shows, and websites all over the world such as Gothic Beauty, Marquis,
Skin Two, Austin Monthly, The Houston Chronicle, and more.
With your help we hope to continue to
grow and bring the beauty of alternative fashion to the high fashion
world as well as the underground community. Designing clothing is our passion.
