Grand Marie Gown

This stunning gown is inspired by the gown worn in the movie Marie Antionette and 18th century styles. The is made of matte satin. It consists of a corseted bodice and a double layered skirt. The bodice is flat fronted to give the 18th century conical shape that flattens and uplifts the bosoms. The bodice is steel boned for maximum shaping and trimmed with gold and white accents and little bows up the front, bodice has lovely white lace sleeves flounces, and laces closed up the back with satin ribbon. The skirt is made with yards and yards of fabric and is double layered, a underskirt and a overskirt all attached to the same waistband. Skirt is trimmed down the front with crisscrossing gathered trim. Gown also includes a pair of 18th century side hoops (pocket hoops) which give the gown it's courtly shape. These hoops are made of white cotton and tie on around the waist. Gown is available custom sized only. Please email us once you order your gown for a list of needed measurements.
