About Corset and Bustier Sizes

Corsets come in even waist sizes of 20-32. This measurement is the measurment of the garment's waist when cinched fully closed. Corsets are meant to give your waist a cinch and should be ordered 2-4 inches smaller than your natural waist size. For example if you natural waist size is a 28 you should order a 24 or 26 sized corset depending on how much "cinch" you want, 24 giving the maximum cinch while 26 would give just a little cinch and be more suitable for someone wanting more of the corseted look without the actual dramatic waist cinching. While our line of corsets on this site are marketed to the fashion customer our corsets *are* suitable for those of you that are experienced corset wearers and can give up to 6 inches of cinch, please notify us before placing an order if you want a corset for tightlacing so we can make sure and fit you correctly.

Our Bustiers are made for fashion only and not meant to give a big cinch to the waist they will give about 1-2 inches of cinch in most cases and are ordered according to our standard size chart. Order the size closest to or just under your natural measurments for the best fit.
